KHOLA PIZA
This film explores the life of Khola Piza who was a farmer in Kurdistan and is still a legendary figure today. When shortly after the Second World War, government forces came to his village and started making life difficult for the villagers, he chose to resist, and left for the mountains with a band of followers. His fight against the government of Iraq continued until his death in 1952.
